My Automated Election Experience – Bangkal Makati City

Here are photos from Bangkal Elementary School at Gen. Malvar St, Bangkal, Makati City. This school has been serving the residents of Barangay Bangkal (the other half of Barrio Culi-Culi) for years already. I arrived at Room 203 or officially Cluster #22 at 6:45am, the BEI was just preparing to test the PCOS machine if it contains zero votes when I arrived.

So yes, Cluster #22 started late. The line was already long, some left because they still have work, while some just went home because they do not want to wait in line for hours. I seated and voted for only 4 minutes but I waited two and a half hours.

Follow up:

This is fine considering how most of us are not familiar with the PCOS machines and the new process. Add to that the clustering of precincts to maximize the usage of the limited number of PCOS machines. The COMELEC should be able to smoothen out all the problems and lack of PCOS machines by the 2012 mid-elections, it should be fast then.

One suggestion to the COMELEC: provide a separate precinct or cluster for all senior citizens. Give them that privilege, they deserve it after all.

Enjoy the few photos I have below.

7:15am, Poll Watchers voted

7:58am – Start of line problems. The staff of Cluster 22 suddenly decided to create a new line for senior citizens.

8:31am – Voters were getting pissed because non-seniors are also entering the Cluster room. It was found out a few minutes later that 5 seniors and 5 non-seniors enters the room at the same time.

9:11am – The situation along the 2nd floor corridor. Clusters 20 to 22.

  2. One thing is always that one of the most typical incentives for using your cards is a cash-back or rebate supply. Generally, you’ll have access to 1-5 back in various expenditures. Depending on the cards, you may get 1 back again on most buying, and 5 back on acquisitions made using convenience stores, filling stations, grocery stores and ‘member merchants’.

  3. I believe that avoiding packaged foods will be the first step to help lose weight. They will taste fine, but packaged foods have very little nutritional value, making you eat more in order to have enough power to get over the day. Should you be constantly ingesting these foods, switching to whole grains and other complex carbohydrates will let you have more vitality while feeding on less. Good blog post.
